Our Story

Phil Working on the Industrial Design for a Unique Water Gun Project

A few short years ago Corvus Engineering official became a company but the truth is that it was many years more in the making. Parker Dahl our founder always had a passion for creative design. Art, Sculpture, welding, machining, 3D modeling, and engineering all were the areas of primary interest but as a recent engineering graduate, finding a job that maximized all of these skills was very difficult.

In 2016 while working as a full time mechanical engineer, designing amusement rides and automation equipment, Parker started doing side work for individual inventors and quickly learned that freelance 3D modeling was a creative outlet that allowed him to use many of these skills and fell in love with product design.

In working with many inventors it quickly became apparent that there were so many people out there with amazing ideas for new products. After some months it was obvious that what these clients needed was more than just a talented designer. What was needed was a process and system to guide them through the product development journey.

From Patents & 3D models to material section, building prototypes, designing for injection molding, and finding manufacturers there is a lot more to product development than just coming up with a good design and over the course of the next few years Parker spent countless hours, late nights and weekends developing the processes and foundation that would become Corvus Engineering.

Parker Assembling Final Prototype of Handheld Vacuum Project

Corvus Engineering has never been about one individual and we have grown into a team of capable and extremely talented engineers, designers, machinists, and creators. When we work with a new customer we think of them as joining our team. One of our core values as a company is elevate those around us to be better than ourselves alone and believe that as a company we are able to provide a system that allows us and our customers to do exactly that and to together bring amazing ideas to life.To date a team we have to take helped over 150 clients with over 250 unique projects and look forward to many more to come!
